With a mixture of trust and peace, this color can help you grow. Color is a universal language, a language that we often forget we use every day. From the moment we wake up, color surrounds us, and without realizing it, our subconscious taps into its amazing powers. We start the day communicating our deepest thoughts and feelings through the color s of our clothes.
When we understand the power of color and acknowledge that not only is this wonderful tool natural but also incredibly strong and effective, we can positively change our thoughts and feelings. All color s have amazing properties that can support us with all aspects of our lives. With our color choices, we can create the strength to deal with daily challenges and bring about happiness and inner peace. We give ourselves the ability to work through problems and traumas and accept guidance and direction.
We are living in a challenging but exciting new time. To make it through, it is so important that we learn to value and listen to our own intuition. We need to trust the “inner teacher” and follow “what feels right.”
Turquoise, a combination of blue and green, is the color that can support us through change and adjustment. Blue is a color that represents trust, communication skills and self-control. The color green represents our heart’s desire, healing, peace and harmony.
The combined colors of blue and green creates turquoise, bringing a powerful tool to help us with creativity, spontaneity, intuition, playfulness, and mental flexibility. It is no coincidence that turquoise is a color associated with happiness. Think of turquoise and you might think of dolphins, those playful, gentle and intelligent creatures.

Turquoise is synonymous with the New Age. Because it is “nontraditional,” the diverse properties associated with the color can give us the clarity to change and adjust to our new environment and all the inherent challenges that this fast moving time is bringing. The color will also bring tranquility, which is important to help us support change.
Through the use of turquoise, businesses can learn to be more proactive in creating new ideas to deal with the recession. A down-turn in the economy does not necessarily have to herald doom and gloom, nor the need to be competitive. Instead we should focus on the excitement of brain storming to create new ideas and projects that will move us ahead.
Turquoise is also a color of communication and computer science. We all need to learn to use technology and to feel comfortable with its presence. The New Age is creating a more youthful and spontaneous “older” generation. Have you noticed that today 50- and 60-year -olds are no longer deemed old? We all accept that we are reaching “maturity” several decades later than previous generations. We are acknowledging that life is not only about working hard, but also having fun. Using turquoise in your home, office or clothes brings happiness, spontaneity and trust of intuition into your life. Be colorful; be you!
